- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- salt
- black pepper
- garlic powder
- 2 cans (10.75 ounce size) cream of chicken soup
- 2 cans (15 ounce size) chicken broth
- 1 package (16 ounce size) homestyle frozen egg noodles
Cut the chicken into bite-sized chunks. Lightly season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place in the crock pot. In a bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth until mixed. Pour over the chicken. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 2 hours. Increase heat to high and stir in the frozen egg noodles. Cook for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the noodles are done. Serve hot. Alternately, you can cook dry egg noodles as directed on the package and stir in the cooked egg noodles during the last 30 minutes of cooking if you don't have the frozen kind on hand.
