1/2 cup Crisco shortening
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
4 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
Cream the butter and shortening . add sugar and blend. Add eggs, one at a time.
blend in dry ingredients.
roll into 1 1/2 balls and roll balls in the sugar/cinnamon
mixture.
Bake at 400F for 8 minutes or until set.
