Granny’s Tea Cakes
Back in the day our great-grandmothers shared everything, from recipes to rose bush clippings for the garden. This recipe is accredited to my great-grandmother, but I must confess it was Mrs. Nova Driggers who actually gave the recipe to the younger generations because Granny had long since stopped making her Tea Cakes. (Also known as sugar cookies, but we never put the sugar or icing on them.)
