Salad:
1 medium cabbage, shredded
2 chopped green onions
2 pkgs. Ramen noodles, broken
Sliced almonds (1 pkg? – about a half-cup)
1 small bottle sesame seeds – again, about a half-cup
2 Tbsp butter
Brown the sesame seeds in butter. Take care as these burn easily.
Dressing:
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil (sesame oil works well, or a blend if you don’t like so much sesame)
2 Tbsp soy sauce
Boil for three minutes before adding to the salad.
Serve immediately to insure the Ramen noodles remain crunchy.
