2 cups Bisquick
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup 7-up
1/4 cup melted butter
Preheat oven to 450. Cut sour cream into biscuit mix, add 7-Up. Makes a very soft dough. Sprinkle additional biscuit mix on board or table and pat dough out. Cut in to 9 biscuits. Melt 1/4 cup butter in a 9 inch square pan. Place cut biscuits in pan and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
7-UP Biscuits
I am not a fan of Bisquick, or any other self-rising flour. I suppose I'm a bit old school in that respect, although oddly I have no problem with pancake mix or muffin mix! If you can explain that, you get an honorary degree in psychology from the institute of kitchen quirks. :) Anyway, that being said, I found this recipe in my grandmother's box and it looks interesting so I thought I'd share. I think it's from the 70's era.
