Prep Time: Cook Time: Total Time:
Ingredients
1 can crescent roll dough, or use frozen puff pastry
(If you're really brave you can make your own!)
2 sausage links (or one "horseshoe" broken in half)
I like the Eckrich beef sausage because of food allergies, etc.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Roll out your dough as is and place one sausage link at one end. Tightly roll the dough around the sausage and press to seal the edge. Cut off the ends of the sausage if you want so the end pieces are more uniform. You should be able to make two with the above recipe. Now slice the rolls into 1-inch length pieces. Place flat side upwards onto a baking sheet and bake for about 15 - 20 minutes, depending on how brown you like them.
Serve warm with a good European-style mustard.
This recipe serves about 4 as a side, or 8 as an appetizer.

English Style Sausage Rolls
Another food I discovered thanks to my newly acquainted English friends... It's like pigs in a blanket, but sliced!
