5 large bell peppers
1 pound ground italian sausage
1 box rice-a-roni spanish rice
1 bag shredded cheese of your choosing
on the stovetop prepare rice-a-roni as directed.separately fry up the ground italian sausage and set to the side.
bring a large pan of water to a boil.
prepare the peppers by cutting holes in the top and removing all the seeds then add to the water for 10 min. (careful you don't want the peppers to be too soft as it will make them harder to stuff.)
preheat oven to 375 degrees
combine the rice and sausage together in a bowl.
in a round pie tin or pyrex baking dish arrange peppers then stuff them halfway and add a layer of cheese, finish stuffing the peppers then add the top layer of cheese. put peppers in the oven for 15 minutes or until top gets golden brown .
serves up to 5 people
