  • 1/3 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 pound boneless top round steak

In a small bowl, combine basil, walnuts, mustard and garlic. Set aside.

Broil steak 6 inches from heat source for 10 to 12 minutes or until almost done, turning once halfway through cooking.

Spread top of steak with pesto mixture. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes more or until steak is done and topping is lightly browned.
