Barbecued Layered Bean Dip

2 cups finely chopped lettuce
1/2 cup peppercorn ranch salad dressing, homemade or store bought
16 ozs. barbecued baked beans
2 medium plum tomatoes
5 slices cooked bacon
4 ozs. sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup green onion
1/2 cup sour cream
bagel chips or tortilla chips

In 8 to 9 inch shallow pie plate, layer finely chopped lettuce, beans, chopped tomatoes, about 1 cup, and shredded cheese, 1 cup.

In bowl, combine sour cream and salad dressing. Spoon over cheese. Sprinkle with bacon and sliced green onion.

Serve immediately or store covered in refrigerator up to 2 hours. Serve with bagel chips or tortilla chips.
Serves 8.
