Yields: 6 breads in 6 pots
1 t dried easy-blend yeast
325 g strong white flour
1 t salt
200 ml tepid water
1 T walnut oil
soft butter, for greasing
Mix yeast, flour and salt in a bowl.
Make a well in centre and add water and oil.
Mix well with a wooden spoon until a dough is formed.
Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead 5-10 min until dough is smooth and elastic.
Divide dough into 6 balls.
Place in terracotta pots lined with buttered baking parchment.
Cover loosely with oiled cling film.
Leave in a warm place to rise 1 hr until doubled.
If no pots, form dough into balls; leave to rise on baking sheet.
Preheat oven 190C.
Remove cling film and place pots on a sturdy baking sheet.
Bake 30 min until well risen.
Cool a few minutes in pots; then turn onto a wire rack.
