Best Pot Roast

Ingredients
4 lbs Beef for pot roast
1/2 lb baby carrots
1/2 lb chopped celery
1 small onion
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 tsp oregano
4 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 clove crushed garlic
1 12oz bottle guiness stout beer
1 tbsp A-1

Cooking Instructions
Put all ingredients in an oven-proof dutch oven. Bake in the oven -at-200 - 225 F for 4-6 hours. The meat will be very tender. Remove from oven, adjust seasonings, add salt and pepper to taste. You may reduce the pan juices and thicken with 1 cup cold water with 1 1/2 tbsp. flour to make a thicker gravy, and serve the veggies on the side. I serve this dish, as is with Mashed potatoes and buttered rolls.
