3 1/4 cup burghul covered with water and soaked for 10 minutes. Drain and press out excess water in hands.

1 large onion grated
2 T salt
1/4 t pepper
1/8 t cinnamon
1/8 t allspice
2 lbs ground lamb

Work onions and spices together thoroughly
Knead meat and spices together
Add crushed wheat and continue kneading

Dip hands in ice water to keep mixture cold
Run through food processer for finer consistency.

Shape like hamburger patties and but on an oiled pan.
Bake 400 for 20-30 minutes. Turn once.
