Serves 6
1 1/2 lb ground beef
32 oz jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp sugar
16 oz cottage cheese
16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
8 oz uncooked lasagna noodles
Parmesan cheese
Brown beef then drain. Add Ragu sauce, sugar and Italian seasoning. Simmer 10 minutes. Ladle 1/3 the sauce into a 9x13 inch pan. Add 1 layer uncooked noodles, then 1 cup cottage cheese spread out, then add 1/2 of the Mozzarella; repeat with sauce, etc, again. End with last 1/2 of sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan and a little mozzarella on top. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 55 minutes at 350 F. Let stand 10 minutes.
