Serves 8
1 cup cream of chicken soup (1 can)
3/4 cup mayonnaise
2 cups (more or less) cooked chicken
1 cup celery chopped fine
1 cup cooked rice (can be cooked in broth)
1 Tbsp grated onion
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 cup water chestnuts (sliced)
almonds, slivered
crushed cornflakes
1/4 cup butter
Mix all and put in casserole. Top with onions and crushed cornflakes that have been mixed with 1/4 cup butter. Bake at 350 F oven for 30-40 minutes.
