1 (8 inch) unbaked pie shell
1 lb ground beef
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
CHEESE TOPPING:
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt, dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 425 F. In a medium skillet, cook and stir meat until brown. Drain off fat. Stir in salt, oregano, onion and green pepper. Pour into pie shell. Top with cheese topping.
CHEESE TOPPING: Beat egg and milk; stir in seasonings and cheese. Pour over pie and bake about 30 minutes.
