Makes 1 dozen
2 Tbsp dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
2 cup buttermilk
6 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
1/4 cup oil
6 cup flour
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine buttermilk, sugar, soda, baking powder, salt and oil in bowl; mix well. Add flour and yeast; mix well. Knead dough on floured surface until smooth and elastic.
Place in greased bowl, turning to grease surface. Let dough rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk. Roll on floured surface; cut and shape as desired. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Let rise until doubled in bulk.
Bake at 375 F for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to serving plate.
