This is my Gram Haxton's recipe for canned homemade catsup (love the spelling!:)
4 Qt. Tomatoes
3 T. Salt
1 Small Hot Pepper
1 C. Chopped Green Bell Pepper
1 T. White Mustard Seed
2 1/2 C. Vinegar
1/2 C. Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Allspice
1 C. Chopped Red Bell Pepper
Combine vegetables, salt, & sugar in a large saucepan. cook till mixture begins to thicken. Add remaining ingredients. Cook til thick, about 3 hours. Can Immediately, following directions in home canning book.
