Makes 2 cups.

3 avocados
1 lime, juiced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. diced onion
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
3 T. chopped fresh cilantro
2 plum tomatoes, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
pinch cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. ground cumin

Cut each avocado lengthwise in half; remove each pit.
With spoon, scoop out flesh from peel into medium bowl; mash together with lime juice and salt.
Stir in onion, jalapeno, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic.
Add cayenne pepper and cumin; blend well.
Refrigerate in a sealed container for 1 hour before serving.
