* This recipe is over 100 Years Old. It was my Mama's Mother's Recipe(My Grandmother Hettie K. McGraw)
Peanut Butter Cracker Cookies
1-1/2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Stick Margarine
1/2 Can Pet or Carnation Milk
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter(Smooth or Crunchy)
1-Stack of Saltine Crackers(Squish them in bag/crush them but not real fine)
1-Teaspoon Vanilla
Mix sugar, milk, margarine all in a saucepan and cook over medium heat. Bring it to a boil stirring constantly and boil for 2 mins.
Remove from heat and add Peanut Butter, Vanilla and Crackers.
Drop by teaspoons onto wax paper and let cool.
Quick Simple and Ole Timey.
